SKIN CONDITIONS
|
Treatments for skin conditions can be confusing as there can often be more than one treatment to use. As a dermatology nurse I am experienced in advising people about how to use the creams and treatments. I can apply the treatments regularly or show how they need to be used. I am aware of the importance of finding out what you have used in the past, what treatments you have liked and disliked and then developing a treatment plan that is suitable and effective.
Eczema & DermatitisEczema or dermatitis is inflammation of the skin that can occur anywhere on the skin. Eczema can be very itchy, disrupts sleep and affects other day to day activities. There are different types of eczema, and both adults and children can be affected. The treatments can be confusing and sometimes it seems that nothing makes it better, however specialist dermatology assessment, advice and treatments can help to improve and control the condition.
